About A Woman's Place, Inc.

A Woman's Place, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) domestic-violence agency founded in 1978 that operates the only domestic-violence safehouse serving Weld County, Colorado. The organization provides a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, housing and employment services, counseling, and community education. In recent years A Woman's Place has published annual impact reports and launched a capital campaign for a new Safehouse (2025) to expand capacity. In 2024 the organization reported serving 6,816 individuals—including answering over 1,100 crisis calls and providing shelter and advocacy to several hundred survivors—while continuing community trainings and multilingual outreach across Weld County.
