About Senior Housing Options, Inc.

Senior Housing Options, Inc. (SHO) is a Colorado-based nonprofit (founded in 1979) that develops, owns and manages affordable apartment communities and assisted living residences for older adults and adults with disabilities. SHO operates multiple properties across Colorado — including Denver, Longmont, Parachute and Cortez — providing both subsidized apartment living and assisted living services to a multi-site resident population of over 350 people. The organization emphasizes a resident-centered culture, accepts Medicaid and private-pay assisted living placements, maintains active community partnerships and fundraising programs, and continues to update operational materials and waitlist processes to serve low- and moderate-income older adults statewide.
