Sister Carmen Community Center (founded 1978; Tax ID / EIN 84-0820308) is a long-established, donor-facing 501(c)(3) Family Resource Center based in Lafayette, Colorado that provides food, financial assistance, case management, parenting supports, workforce and digital-literacy classes, and other basic-needs services to families in east Boulder County. Using ARPA and county partnership funds, Sister Carmen expanded emergency supports and reporting; outputs from the funded project include tens of thousands of pounds of purchased food, hundreds of thousands of dollars in direct financial assistance, and service to many thousands of individuals and households in eastern Boulder County.

Sustained local program delivery and community services

Sister Carmen operates a client-choice food bank, bilingual parenting and lactation supports, computer and workforce classes, and a thrift store that both serves clients and generates program revenue.
