ASIAN PACIFIC DEVELOPMENT CENTER
Asian Pacific Development Center is powered by its rich heritage of AANHPI advocacy and exists to serve and support immigrant and refugee communities through a whole-health, community-based approach across health, education, and advocacy.
About ASIAN PACIFIC DEVELOPMENT CENTER
Founded in 1980 and tax-exempt as a 501(c)(3) since November 1981, APDC developed as one of Colorado’s first culturally specific behavioral health providers for Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) communities and expanded into adult education, victim services, language access, and community navigation.
In recent years APDC continued core behavioral-health, education, and victim-assistance programming while pursuing organizational alignment with community behavioral-health partners: in 2023 APDC’s staff and programs were integrated with Aurora Mental Health & Recovery to form the Cultural Development & Wellness Center to strengthen culturally specific capacity and expand service access.
