About OPERA COLORADO

Opera Colorado is a professional, donor-facing 501(c)(3) opera company based in Englewood, Colorado, that presents mainstage productions at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House and additional performances and initiatives across the state. Founded in 1981, the company produces grand operas, new works, and touring/community programs while operating an Artist in Residence training program for emerging singers.

The organization maintains an active education and community engagement program that reaches tens of thousands of students and adults annually through school residencies, touring productions, workshops, and digital initiatives. Opera Colorado combines traditional repertory with contemporary commissions and scene-change programming to expand access and diversify audience participation.
