About Rock Ledge Ranch Living History Association

The Rock Ledge Ranch Living History Association (LHA) is a volunteer non-profit organization (EIN 84-0858400) that supports Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site, a living-history museum located adjacent to Garden of the Gods Park in Colorado Springs. LHA raises funds, recruits and manages volunteers, and helps operate the Ranch’s membership program and General Store.

Rock Ledge Ranch interprets the Camp Creek Valley across multiple time periods (American Indian occupation, 1860s homestead, 1880s working farm, and the 1907 Edwardian Orchard House) through costumed interpreters, hands-on demonstrations, school programs, and special events. The site is maintained and presented in partnership with the City of Colorado Springs and community foundations.

Recent activity (2023–2025) includes membership and volunteer growth, capital projects tied to a historically accurate Chambers greenhouse rebuild, and anniversary programming culminating in a sesquicentennial (150th) celebration of the Rock Ledge House in June 2025.
