COLORADO UPLIFT

Colorado UpLift is a Denver–Aurora area 501(c)(3) nonprofit that places salaried Teacher/Mentors into public schools to provide sustained academic instruction, mentoring, and leadership development for urban youth. The organization follows students across grade levels, combining in-school classes with out-of-school programming to support graduation and post-secondary readiness. Over the last several years UpLift has expanded partnerships across Denver, Aurora, and Westminster schools, serving thousands of students annually and launching a capital effort to establish a permanent Community Campus in Aurora. UpLift emphasizes measurable outcomes—high school graduation, student leadership growth, and college/career enrollment—as core indicators of impact. The organization has operated since 1982 and maintains public financial filings and donor-facing programs, fundraising, and measurable program metrics to support ongoing school partnerships and community engagement.
