About ROCKY MOUNTAIN LIONS EYE BANK
The Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank (RMLEB) is a nonprofit eye bank founded in 1982 by the Lions of Colorado and Wyoming. RMLEB recovers, processes, and distributes donated corneal tissue for sight-restoring transplants and for research, and operates as an accredited member of the eye-banking community.
RMLEB serves Colorado and most of Wyoming and also places tissues nationally and internationally; in recent years its recovered tissues have been placed with recipients across many U.S. states and in numerous other countries. The organization runs education and outreach programs, patient assistance grants, and projects that celebrate donors and recipients.
