About Colorado Wind Ensemble, Inc.
The Colorado Wind Ensemble (CWE) is a volunteer community wind symphony founded in 1983 that presents an annual season of concert programs in the Denver metro area and beyond. It is led by Conductor and Music Director Dr. David Kish and serves as a regional performing ensemble and educational partner.
CWE is a verified tax‑exempt 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 84-0893430) that combines a formal concert season (frequently presented at the King Center on the Auraria campus) with education and outreach activities, guest artists, commissions, and residency work with Metropolitan State University of Denver.
