About COLORADO COMMUNITY HEALTH NETWORK INC
Colorado Community Health Network (CCHN) is Colorado’s statewide association of Community Health Centers (CHCs). It represents a network of CHCs that provide primary medical, dental, and behavioral health services to low-resourced and uninsured Coloradans.
CCHN delivers policy advocacy, technical assistance, quality improvement, workforce development, and enrollment support (including the Covering Kids & Families effort) to strengthen the safety-net. In the last 2–3 years the organization has continued statewide programs and received federal support to sustain and expand access to care for underserved populations.
Notable achievements
Statewide CHC Network
Serves as the convening organization for Colorado’s community health center system, representing 21 CHCs that together operate more than 250 clinic sites and reach a patient population measured in the hundreds of thousands statewide.
Federal Support for Safety-Net Work
Secured federal grant support (including HRSA funding/support) to sustain statewide technical assistance, quality initiatives, and programs that increase access to care for uninsured and Medicaid populations.
Coverage & Specialty Access Initiatives
Leads and supports statewide initiatives such as Covering Kids & Families (enrollment assistance for Medicaid/CHP+) and the Safety Net Specialty Care Program to expand specialty access for uninsured patients.
