About Pueblo Cooperative Care Center
Pueblo Cooperative Care Center is a faith-based, community emergency assistance organization founded in 1982 that operates as the largest nonprofit emergency assistance program in southern Colorado. It provides food, clothing, hygiene, transportation vouchers, prescription assistance, and other crisis supports to residents of Pueblo County.
The center runs both on-site services and targeted programs (including a Nutrition On Wheels delivery program for homebound seniors) and partners with local agencies, businesses, and faith communities to scale services. In recent years the organization has expanded its outreach and secured state and private support to increase locally sourced food purchasing and community events.
