About Impact on Education

Impact on Education is the independent school foundation serving the Boulder Valley School District (BVSD). Founded in 1983, the organization raises and directs private resources to expand educational opportunity, with a stated focus on equity and on students who face the greatest barriers to success. In the last 2–3 years Impact on Education has scaled mental-health supports, increased targeted grantmaking to teachers and classrooms, and continued its district-wide programs for college/career readiness and student scholarships. The organization is an active, donor-facing 501(c)(3) with publicly available financial filings and an annual impact report.

Student Opportunity Grants — $181,000+

For the 2024–25 year the foundation awarded more than $181,000 in Student Opportunity Grants to fund classroom resources, field trips, dual-language and STEM programming, decodable books, and other teacher-requested needs across BVSD.
