About COLORADO ORGANIZATION FOR VICTIM ASSISTANCE

The Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance (COVA) is a statewide, donor-facing nonprofit that provides training, resources, and advocacy to support victims of crime and the professionals who serve them. COVA operates statewide programs including training for allied professionals, a victim emergency fund, public policy tracking and advocacy, and an annual conference for victim service providers. In recent years COVA has administered significant state and federal grant funds to support direct financial assistance to victims, expanded statewide training and technical assistance, and taken active policy positions on victim-related legislation. The organization functions as a membership network and convener for agencies, survivors, and criminal justice partners to strengthen Colorado’s victim services system.
