About INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF ARBORICULTURE ROCKY MOUNTAIN CHAPTER
The ISA Rocky Mountain Chapter (ISA RMC) is the regional chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture serving Colorado, Montana, New Mexico and Wyoming. The chapter focuses on professional education, credentialing, public outreach and industry events that support municipal, utility and commercial arboriculture.
ISA RMC runs continuing-education programs and credentialing opportunities (ISA certifications and TRAQ), organizes the regional Tree Climbing Championship and supports industry gatherings such as the ProGreen Expo and a chapter conference. The chapter also produces region-specific resources (for example the Front Range Tree Recommendation List) and a quarterly member newsletter, the Rocky Mountain Arborist.
During 2023–2025 the chapter has emphasized credentialing and training (certification exams and practical skills testing), updated board bylaws and Standard Operating Procedures, and supported development and publication of regional planting/recommendation resources for Front Range communities.

Front Range Tree Recommendation List development
