Founded in 1972 as the Continental Divide Color Guard Circuit and now operating as the Rocky Mountain Color Guard Association, the organization runs an annual winter guard circuit that fosters performance, adjudication, and training for high school and independent color guard units across the Rocky Mountain region.
RMCGA organizes regular contests and a State Championship season, provides judge training and adjudication services, awards performer scholarships, and maintains policies and trainings (including SafeSport and anonymous reporting) to support safe, educational experiences for students and staff. The organization is a U.S. tax-exempt 501(c)(3).
