About Aurora Housing Corporation (doing business as Community Housing Partners)
Aurora Housing Corporation, operating as Community Housing Partners (CHP), is a Colorado nonprofit established in 1985 to develop and operate affordable, service-enriched rental housing for lower-income households in the City of Aurora.
CHP owns and manages a small portfolio of family-focused properties and provides onsite resident services and case management to help households remain stably housed and increase access to employment, education and supportive resources.
In recent years CHP expanded its housing stock with a new development completed in 2024 and announced a strategic operational partnership in 2025 to strengthen management and service delivery.

Longstanding nonprofit housing presence
Founded in 1985 as Aurora Housing Corporation to access federal housing resources; sustained affordable housing work in Aurora for decades.
Expansion of housing stock — Eagle Meadow Homes (2024)
Completed a new development (Eagle Meadow Homes) in 2024 that increased CHP’s portfolio capacity, bringing the organization’s total to approximately 183 affordable apartments across three communities.
Strategic partnership for operations (2025)
Entered a strategic operational partnership in 2025 with Brothers Redevelopment to consolidate management and expand capacity to serve Aurora residents more effectively.
