North Metro Arts Alliance is a community-focused arts nonprofit founded in 1983 that presents performing and visual arts programs, public art, festivals, and educational outreach throughout the year.
NMAA partners with local governments, Hyland Hills Park & Recreation, Westminster Public Schools and the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) to deliver free and low-cost concerts, juried exhibits, school grants, youth theater residencies and public-art projects.
Notable achievements
Established regional arts presence since 1983
Founded as the Westminster Community Artist Series by the Westminster Rotary Club, the organization has operated for four decades presenting performing and visual arts across the north-metro area.
Adams County High School Honor Music Festival (2024)
Delivered the 2024 Honor Music Festival with over 200 student musicians participating and an evening concert attended by more than 700 community members, providing university-level conductors and educational opportunities.
Westminster Arts Week & Mini‑Mural Fest (2025)
Coordinated Arts Week programming in spring 2025 including a Mini‑Mural Fest, multiple gallery exhibitions and plaza activations that highlighted local artists and increased public engagement with the arts.
