Pueblo Child Advocacy Center, Inc
Empowering children and strengthening families by reducing trauma, fostering healing, and restoring hope.
About Pueblo Child Advocacy Center, Inc
Pueblo Child Advocacy Center (PCAC) provides a child‑centered, multidisciplinary response to allegations of child abuse, offering forensic interviews, medical evaluations, family advocacy, and onsite mental‑health services in a single, child‑friendly location.
Founded in the mid‑1980s, PCAC was an early adopter of the Child Advocacy Center model (one of the first in the nation and the first in Colorado) and works closely with law enforcement, child protective services, medical partners, and the judicial system.
All core services are provided free to families; the center serves Pueblo and surrounding counties, operates as an accredited child advocacy center, and relies on a mix of public and private grants, foundation support and individual donors to fund operations.
