About GOLF 4 THE DISABLED
Golf 4 The Disabled is a small Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 84-1115880) that uses adaptive golf instruction and equipment to improve physical function, confidence and social connection for people with disabilities.
Founded out of a therapeutic discovery in 1989, the organization runs seasonal clinics taught by adaptive-trained coaches, supplies adaptive equipment (including single-rider adapted golf carts) and partners with local parks, recreation programs and veteran services to expand access.
In recent years the organization has continued to run annual summer clinic sessions, maintained partnerships with adaptive-sports networks, and accepted grant funding to support veterans’ participation and the distribution of adaptive carts around the Denver metro area.
