Friendship Bridge

Friendship Bridge is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit social enterprise, founded in 1990 and headquartered in Lakewood, CO, that operates a Microcredit Plus model in Guatemala. The organization combines accessible microloans with non-formal education, agricultural and artisan training, and preventive health services to support low-income, rural, and Indigenous women entrepreneurs. Friendship Bridge operates multiple branch offices in Guatemala and focuses on reaching women who face barriers to formal financial services, offering group-based lending (Trust Banks), business support, and the Bridge to Success program for higher-growth entrepreneurs.
