About CRESTED BUTTE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY
Crested Butte Friends of the Library (CBFOL) is a community-based 501(c)(3) friends group that supports the Crested Butte branch of Gunnison County Libraries (Old Rock Community Library) through fundraising, volunteerism, and advocacy.
The organization raises money for additional books, program support, technology and internet access, facility improvements, and scholarships for local students; in recent years it has run a recurring summer wine-tasting fundraiser and ongoing membership drives to sustain those efforts.
