About PARENT POSSIBLE

Parent Possible (legal/alternate name: Colorado Parent & Child Foundation) is a Denver-based 501(c)(3) intermediary formed in 1991 that promotes early childhood development and school readiness by supporting evidence-based parent education and home-visiting programs across Colorado. The organization operates statewide programs and partnerships—including Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY), Parents as Teachers (PAT), Vroom resources, and the Enhanced Home Visiting (EHV) workforce initiative—focused on parents and caregivers of children from pregnancy through kindergarten. Parent Possible produces annual reports, program-specific state snapshots and evaluation reports documenting participant outcomes, and partners with state agencies and foundations to expand home visiting and parent-support services into urban and rural communities.

Notable achievements

Statewide Enhanced Home Visiting (EHV) lead

Serves as the lead agency for Colorado’s Enhanced Home Visiting project, expanding reflective consultation, mindfulness and trauma-informed supports for home visitors and supervisors statewide and demonstrating positive links to home visitor retention and family retention in annual evaluations.

Large-scale reach through PAT and HIPPY

Recent program reports show substantial statewide reach: Parents as Teachers (2023–24) reported roughly 1,387 children served and 12,371 visits (affiliate network across dozens of counties), and HIPPY (2022–23) served 688 families / 753 children through approximately 15,800 home visits.

Evidence & evaluation driven

Publishes program reports, state snapshots and multi-year EHV evaluation findings that document measurable improvements in parent confidence, parent–child interactions and school-readiness indicators for children served.
