About Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute Foundation, Inc.
Founded by Colorado and Wyoming Lions in 1991 to support the creation and ongoing needs of the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, the Foundation raises funds for equipment, research support, and patient assistance.
RMLEIF provides grants to the Eye Institute, pays portions of low-vision exam costs for financially needy patients, and helps remove barriers to care by assisting with transportation, lodging, and meals when specialized services are unavailable locally.
The Foundation is governed by an 11-member Board of Trustees elected by Lions in Colorado and Wyoming and operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has supported the Eye Institute’s work and patients across the region for decades.

Partnered with Lions Clubs and donors to raise substantial funds that helped establish the Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Institute and to equip and expand its clinical, research, and educational capacity.
