About Community Educational Outreach
Community Educational Outreach (CEO) is a Denver-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit (tax-exempt since 1993) that delivers adult education, high school equivalency preparation and testing, and workforce-readiness services through partnerships with community corrections, treatment centers, and nonprofit agencies across Colorado.
CEO operates classroom and individualized instruction, career navigation, and employment-readiness programming at multiple partner sites (8 locations across several Colorado counties) to help adults affected by incarceration, homelessness, addiction, and chronic unemployment pursue diplomas, job skills, and stable employment.
Notable achievements
State-certified HiSET test center
Maintains state certification to administer both paper and computer-based HiSET testing for adult learners pursuing an HSE diploma.
Multi-site program expansion
Expanded programming to serve learners at multiple partner locations (eight sites across several Colorado counties) since its founding as an in-house corrections education program.
Sustained fiscal growth (recent years)
Organization revenues and operations have grown in the past 2–3 years to support expanded instruction and staffing for adult education and employment services.
