About Evergreen Rotary Foundation, Inc.
Evergreen Rotary Foundation, Inc. is the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the Rotary Club of Evergreen (incorporated November 1, 1991). The Foundation serves as a public charitable foundation that raises, holds and grants funds and acts as a fiscal sponsor for community and international service projects.
In the past 2–3 years the Foundation has focused on community resilience and international education: it funds Rotary Wildfire Ready (local wildfire preparedness and education), established a Guatemala Indigenous Women’s Endowment Fund seeded by a major gift to support university scholarships for Mayan women, and supported local legacy projects such as funding a food truck for expanded food access. The Foundation regularly runs fundraising campaigns and grants charitable contributions to local partners and international implementing organizations.
Notable achievements
Guatemala Indigenous Women’s Endowment
Established a project-specific endowment seeded with a major gift to provide recurring scholarships to MAIA-Impact School graduates; initial scholarship grants have been made and the fund is being grown to support ongoing annual awards.
Global Grant Approval
Received approval of a six-figure global grant (total $162,125) to support education and empowerment programming for young Mayan women (training, internships, mentoring and educator support) with a Guatemalan implementing partner.
Legacy Project — Food Truck
Member-approved legacy project funded the purchase of a food truck for Evergreen Christian Outreach to extend meal access to those unable to reach physical pantry locations.
