About Urban Peak

Urban Peak is a Denver-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides a full continuum of trauma-informed services for young people experiencing homelessness, including 24/7 shelter, transitional housing, case management, medical and behavioral health care, education and employment supports, and street outreach.

In 2023–2024 Urban Peak completed and opened a new, integrated campus known as “The Mothership,” significantly expanding shelter capacity and co-locating health, wellness, life-skills, and housing programs; in 2024 the organization served roughly 1,100 unduplicated youth and provided tens of thousands of meals and direct street outreach contacts.

Completed and moved operations into a new trauma-informed campus in 2024 that expanded shelter capacity, co-located medical and behavioral health services, life-skills spaces, and transitional housing to better meet youth needs.

2024 service impact

In the 2024 reporting year Urban Peak served approximately 1,100 unduplicated youth, provided over 44,000 meals, and conducted hundreds of street outreach contacts while expanding program capacity and on-site services.

Reports released by the organization show measurable community savings from ending youth homelessness and substantial increases in youth transitions to stable living situations and earnings after program engagement.
