About Hyland Hills Foundation
The Hyland Hills Foundation is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit (formed 1992) that raises funds and distributes need-based scholarships to support Hyland Hills Park & Recreation District programs. The Foundation focuses on removing financial barriers so children and other district residents can access sports, swim lessons, and community events.
The Foundation is 100% funded by donations and sponsors and operates signature programs and fundraisers—such as Be-A-Fish swim lessons, an annual golf tournament, and seasonal community events—to expand recreational and cultural opportunities across the district.
In recent years (2023–2025) the Foundation has continued its core scholarship and program work, held its annual golf tournament and Winter Festival fundraisers, and sustained the Be-A-Fish free swim lessons program that reaches hundreds of children each year.
