Longmont High School Education Foundation (LHSEF) supports Longmont High School by awarding teacher and classroom grants, providing needs-based assistance for student participation in extracurriculars, and running alumni and fundraising programs that supplement school resources.
Founded in the early 1990s as an independent charitable organization, LHSEF operates multiple funds — including the Jim Moulton Trojan Fund and the Trojan Family Fund — and works with the Longmont High community to direct donations toward projects not covered by district budgets.
In the last 2–3 years LHSEF has funded student support initiatives (a Trojan Journey/college & career center and a student care closet), classroom and robotics equipment, and contributed to a multi-year weight room renovation in partnership with boosters and school leadership.

Trojan Journey/Student Support Center
Funded and supported a center to connect students and families with postsecondary planning, community resources, and job/camp listings to improve college and career readiness.
STEM & robotics equipment grants
Provided grants that equipped VEX Robotics and Wearable Tech programs with tools and materials to keep teams competitive and expand hands-on STEM learning.
Collaborative weight-room renovation
Contributed to a multi-year, collaborative effort with the Booster Club and school to renovate and modernize the school weight room for PE and extracurricular use.
