About HOME BUILDERS FOUNDATION OF METROPOLITAN DENVER

Home Builders Foundation of Metropolitan Denver (HBF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that designs and constructs home accessibility modifications—ramps, bathroom and kitchen adaptations, lifts, and similar projects—to increase independence and safety for individuals with physical disabilities. The organization leverages a volunteer network drawn largely from the local home-building industry to deliver projects at no cost to qualifying clients. HBF serves the eight-county Denver metropolitan area and has operated since the early 1990s. In recent years the foundation has continued to scale its work, marking multi-decade milestones while reporting meaningful program spending to support hundreds of accessibility projects annually and maintaining partnerships with the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver and local industry donors and volunteers.
