United Power Round Up Foundation
A Colorado-based 501(c)(3) private grantmaking foundation that administers United Power’s Operation Round Up program. United Power Round Up Foundation (tax-exempt since 1995) operates the Operation Round Up program: members elect to round their monthly electric bill to the next dollar and pooled donations fund local assistance. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of community members.

25-year milestone and $2M+ returned
Operation Round Up celebrated 25 years in 2020 and, since inception, has returned more than two million dollars to individuals, families, and charitable groups in the service area.
Expanded 2024 grantmaking
In 2024 the Foundation processed roughly $250k in contributions and distributed approximately $249k in program grants, including significant support to partner organizations providing direct assistance.
