About Parker Symphony Orchestra
The Parker Symphony Orchestra (EIN 84-1277794) is a volunteer community symphony founded in 1994 that presents a regular season of orchestral concerts at the PACE Center in Parker, Colorado. Except for the Music Director, René Knetsch, and the concertmaster, the ensemble is composed of volunteer musicians from the Denver metro area.
The organization is a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit and programs emphasize core orchestral repertoire, guest soloists, and community collaborations (notably an annual holiday program with the Parker Chorale). In recent seasons (2023–2025) the PSO presented major works such as Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony, and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue with guest soloists.
