About BLUFF LAKE NATURE CENTER

Bluff Lake Nature Center is a nonprofit that owns and manages a 123-acre urban wildlife refuge and outdoor classroom on the eastern edge of Denver. The site functions as Denver’s largest open space managed as native habitat and is the city’s only nonprofit nature center. Bluff Lake offers year-round public programs, licensed childcare (summer camp, after-school, forest school and UPK), teacher training, volunteer stewardship and free community events while advancing habitat restoration, accessibility and equity in outdoor access through recent campus improvements and ongoing programming.
