About Denver Children's Choir
Denver Children's Choir (DCC) is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth choral organization founded in 1995 that provides ensemble-based music education and performance opportunities for children across the Denver metro area.
DCC operates multi-level Neighborhood and Premier choirs for singers (typically ages 7–18), partners with schools and community programs to expand access, provides substantial financial assistance (more than half of singers receive some support), and has served thousands of children since its founding. In recent seasons the organization has maintained robust programming (approximately 200 active singers prior to a September 18, 2025 merger), reported FY2024 revenues of roughly $650K with nearly balanced expenses, and announced a 2025 merger with Vocal Coalition to broaden reach and artistic leadership.
