About Pikes Peak Community Foundation
Pikes Peak Community Foundation (PPCF) is a community foundation serving the Pikes Peak region (primarily El Paso and Teller counties) that helps donors create and manage charitable funds, and distributes grants to local nonprofits to strengthen community wellbeing.
Founded from a community trust dating to 1928, PPCF manages endowed and expendable funds, conducts place-based initiatives and regional research, and partners with local organizations to expand college access, public safety alternatives, arts and conservation work.

Longstanding regional impact
Rooted in a community trust created in 1928, PPCF reports having invested well over $125 million in the region since its first grants.
2024 grantmaking scale
In 2024 PPCF reported granting more than $10 million to several hundred charitable organizations (a major recent-year distribution reflecting expanded grant activity).
National Standards accreditation
PPCF has earned National Standards accreditation for community foundations (most recently renewed in the early 2020s), demonstrating policy and practice alignment with recognized sector standards.
