Habitat for Humanity of Gunnison Valley (HFHGV) is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that builds and sells modest, energy-conscious homes to income-qualified families in the Gunnison Valley to expand access to affordable homeownership.
The organization operates through community volunteer labor, donated/discounted materials, grant funding and partnerships (including Habitat for Humanity Colorado and local governments and foundations) to keep homes affordable for buyers who otherwise could not purchase on the open market.
