About Colorado Renewable Energy Society
Colorado Renewable Energy Society (CRES) is a statewide, nonpartisan nonprofit founded in 1996 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3). It supports Colorado’s clean-energy transition through volunteer-led local chapters, public programs, conferences, webinars, and policy work.
CRES provides technical education, community outreach, and policy engagement to accelerate the deployment of renewables and efficiency across Colorado, and maintains active chapter networks (Boulder County, Jefferson County, Northern Colorado, Metro Denver, and Southeastern Colorado).
