About COLORADO COALITION OF LAND TRUSTS

Colorado Coalition of Land Trusts (publicly branded as Keep It Colorado) is a statewide coalition that brings together nonprofit land trusts, public agencies, funders and conservation partners to advance private-lands conservation across Colorado. The coalition focuses on policy advocacy, member connection and capacity building, strategic statewide planning, and funding solutions to increase the pace and quality of land protection. In April 2023 the coalition published "Conserving Colorado: A 10-year Roadmap for the Future of Private Land Conservation," outlining targets to double acres protected, double public engagement, and double resources for conservation over a decade. Keep It Colorado works with state agencies and major funders to protect working farms and ranches, water resources, wildlife habitat and open space while advancing equity and community-centered conservation that reaches communities from rural to urban areas, including communities most vulnerable to climate impacts.
