About Aurora Symphony Orchestra
Founded in 1978, the Aurora Symphony Orchestra (ASO) is an all-volunteer community orchestra that presents a multi-concert season each year (masterworks, holiday, family/young people’s concerts and special concerts) for Aurora and the Denver metro area.
ASO maintains an active education and outreach program that includes bilingual Young People’s Concerts, instrument “petting zoos,” hands-on activities for children, and free admission policies for students and children under 18 to make orchestral music accessible.
Under Artistic Director Jeremy Cuebas (named Artistic Director/Principal Conductor in recent seasons), the orchestra resumed regular multi-concert seasons after the pandemic and has produced chamber concerts, masterworks programs, holiday performances and community collaborations in 2023–2025.
