About Cherokee Ranch & Castle Foundation
Cherokee Ranch & Castle Foundation (a Colorado 501(c)(3) public charity established to preserve the Tweet Kimball estate) stewards a 3,400+-acre working ranch, a rare 1920s Scottish-style “castle,” and a significant art and archival collection while operating as a public cultural and conservation resource.
In recent years the Foundation has expanded public programming (guided castle tours, land and ranch tours, science and conservation programs, and cultural performances), advanced conservation and historic-structure preservation projects, and launched new initiatives including the planned Shona Sculpture Park in partnership with an international sculpture park to broaden cultural exchange and education.
