About Brighton Cultural Arts Commission, Inc.
Brighton Cultural Arts Commission, Inc. (doing business as Brighton Cultural Arts Connection / BCAC) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that produces public arts programs, community events, exhibitions, workshops and public-art acquisitions to strengthen Brighton’s cultural identity and make arts accessible to residents of all ages.
In the last 2–3 years BCAC has been actively programming exhibitions, artist-of-the-month features, student and district art shows, its Excellence in Arts awards program (celebrating a decade of awards in 2025), and public-art projects including new murals and sculpture installations that highlight local history and community leaders.

Expanded Brighton’s public art collection with new mural and sculpture installations that celebrate local history and civic pride, including the Women of Inspiration mural added in 2024.
Excellence in Arts Awards (10-year milestone)
Sustained and grew the Excellence in Arts Awards program to recognize outstanding local artists and cultural contributors; the program marked a 10th anniversary milestone in 2025.
District & student art engagement
Hosted and supported annual 27J District student art shows and youth-focused exhibitions that increased school and student participation in public cultural programming (notable activity in 2024–2025).
