About Montessori Educational Foundation of Douglas County
Montessori Educational Foundation of Douglas County (EIN 84-1418418) is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity that owns and manages the facility used by DCS Montessori Charter School and raises funds to support the school's programs, facilities, staff development, and student needs.
Founded in 1997, the Foundation’s work focuses on long-term facility stewardship, targeted fundraising, and program support that help the DCS Montessori campus serve children from Pre-K through 8th grade in the Castle Pines/Castle Rock area.
In recent years the Foundation has expanded recurring-giving and community fundraising (Cougars Care, spirit-night fundraisers, Fun Run and Colorado Gives Day campaigns) and has supported teacher training and scholarship efforts to strengthen Montessori instruction at the school.
