About Literacy Coalition of Colorado
The Literacy Coalition of Colorado (LCC) is a statewide nonprofit coalition that supports adult education programs, volunteer tutors, and adult learners across Colorado. LCC is a recognized 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 84-1436472) and has operated as a state-level literacy coalition since the early 2000s.
LCC maintains a statewide Class Provider Map and directory, runs recurring professional development and volunteer training (including an annual virtual Spring Tutor Training), and builds digital resources and networking opportunities so service providers can better reach and serve adult learners.

Statewide Class Provider Map
Built and maintains a public, statewide map and directory that helps adult learners and volunteers locate local classes and programs across Colorado.
Sustained annual tutor training
Runs an annual virtual Spring Tutor Training (sessions recorded and archived) and regular workshops and networking events to strengthen instructional practice and volunteer capacity (active 2023–2025).
Digital resource development
Launched and curated a Resources Padlet (Spring 2024 onward) and published recordings/handouts from recent trainings to expand access to up-to-date materials for educators statewide.
