About Rocky Mountain Equality (formerly Boulder Pride / Out Boulder County)
Rocky Mountain Equality (RMEQ), formerly Boulder Pride and Out Boulder County, is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving LGBTQ+ people and families across Boulder County and northern Colorado; the organization rebranded to reflect its expanded geographic scope and statewide advocacy work.
RMEQ operates a community center and runs direct services (youth groups, behavioral health, case management, financial assistance), education and training programs, cultural events, and public-policy advocacy. In 2024 RMEQ reported expanded impact including serving over 31,000 community members, distributing direct financial assistance, and increasing training and recovery programming.

Rebrand and regional expansion
Transitioned from Out Boulder County/Boulder Pride to Rocky Mountain Equality to reflect growth beyond Boulder County, including acquiring the Equality Center and expanding programs into Larimer and Weld counties.
2024 documented impact
In 2024 RMEQ reported serving over 31,000 community members, distributing direct financial assistance to dozens of households, engaging more than 200 active volunteers, and delivering substantial training and recovery services.
