About HIGHLANDS RANCH AQUATICS CLUB INC.
Highlands Ranch Aquatics Club (HRA) is a year-round, coach-directed nonprofit swim club serving Highlands Ranch and the greater Denver metro area. HRA is organized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and operates a competitive and developmental program for swimmers of varying ages and ability levels.
The club emphasizes athlete development, sportsmanship, teamwork and college preparation; it fields teams at age-group, senior and masters levels and regularly competes at Local Swimming Committee (LSC) and national-level meets. In recent seasons (2023–2025) HRA has served roughly 120–130 competitive swimmers and continued to place athletes at Colorado state championships and sectional-level meets.
In the last 2–3 years the club has maintained year-round training, hosted and participated in regional invitationals and sustained community fundraising efforts (including Colorado Gives activity and grant support) while filing its most recent Form 990 for fiscal year 2023.
Notable achievements
USA Swimming Bronze Medal Club
Recognized historically as a Bronze Medal Club for program excellence within USA Swimming (club-level award).
State and sectional qualifiers
Regularly produces swimmers who qualify for Colorado LSC state championships, zone/sectional meets and higher-level national competitions.
College-bound athletes
Consistently develops graduating seniors who go on to swim at NCAA programs and other collegiate teams in recent graduating classes.
