About Cultivando

Cultivando is a Colorado-based nonprofit led by Latina and Indigenous women that builds community leadership and advances health equity for frontline Latino communities in Commerce City, Globeville, Elyria-Swansea, and surrounding areas.

The organization operates a Promotora (community health promoter) model, environmental justice and air-quality monitoring initiatives, early childhood supports, and culturally responsive emotional-wellness programming.

Cultivando is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization (ruling year 1999) with two decades of community organizing, recent multi-year environmental justice campaigns, and recurring community events and trainings (notably EcoFiesta in July 2023 and July 2024).

Notable achievements

Annual EcoFiesta
