About COLORADO SPRINGS CONSERVATORY FOUNDATION
Colorado Springs Conservatory Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing-arts conservatory serving the Pikes Peak region; it was founded in 1994 and has held federal tax-exempt status since 2000.
The organization provides multi-disciplinary, non-auditioned arts education (music, voice, theater, dance, recording arts and humanities) for learners from early childhood through high school, serves roughly 1,500–2,000 students annually, and operates a mix of in-house classes, partner programs in schools, scholarships (nearly $80,000 awarded most recently) and public performances.
In recent years CSC has expanded its community footprint and facilities: leadership transitioned to CEO Nathan Halvorson in July 2022, and the organization announced a long-term downtown lease beginning August 1, 2025 to support larger classrooms, performance space and a recording studio.
