About RESTORATION CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES

Restoration Christian Ministries (RCM), based in Aurora, Colorado, is a faith-rooted nonprofit community development organization founded in the late 1990s (renamed in 2013). RCM operates a mix of direct services—including early childhood education and childcare, after-school youth mentoring, food distribution, safe outdoor spaces and safe parking for people experiencing homelessness—and community development projects to expand affordable housing and resident services.

In the past 2–3 years RCM substantially scaled operations: it operated a Universal Prekindergarten and licensed childcare program with capacity for pre-K and school-age care, maintained Safe Outdoor Spaces (SOS) and Safe Parking programs serving dozens of people and vehicles, and advanced a large affordable-housing project (King’s Crossing Village) that reached leasing/occupancy activity in 2025. RCM partners with government funders and community organizations to deliver most of its program funding and services.

Notable achievements

Affordable housing development

Co-led development of King’s Crossing Village, a roughly 178–179 unit mixed-income, intergenerational affordable-housing community in Aurora that reached leasing/occupancy activity after construction in 2025 and provides on-site resident services and supports.

Safe Outdoor Spaces & Safe Parking

Operated a Safe Outdoor Spaces (SOS) program and Safe Parking program providing pallet shelters and designated parking spaces, maintaining capacity for dozens of unhoused residents and actively supporting transitions to more permanent housing.

Early childhood and childcare services

Operated an early childhood/prekindergarten program and affordable childcare services (accepting Colorado Child Care Assistance Program), with licensed capacity to serve roughly 80+ children and before/after-school care for school-age youth.
