THE PLACE
The PLACE ignites the potential in youth to exit homelessness and create self-determined, fulfilled lives.
About THE PLACE
THE PLACE is a Colorado Springs–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preventing and ending youth homelessness by combining street outreach, drop-in services, case management, and long-term supportive housing.
Founded in 2000 (previously operating under Urban Peak Colorado Springs), the organization works across the Pikes Peak region to connect young people with housing, health care, education, employment supports and stable relationships.
In the past 2–3 years THE PLACE has expanded its housing capacity with The Launchpad, a 50-unit permanent supportive housing community for transition-aged youth, and continues to operate outreach and drop-in programs that meet immediate needs while supporting long-term stability.
