About SOCIETY OF ECONOMICS GEOLOGISTS INC

The Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) is an international, member-driven nonprofit that advances research, education, and professional practice in economic geology through peer-reviewed publications, technical meetings, training, and student programs. SEG publishes the long-running journal Economic Geology, produces technical special publications and guidebooks, and organizes international conferences and short courses serving industry, academia, and government. In recent years SEG has remained active in conferences and member programming, expanded digital access to its publications, and continued support for student chapters, travel grants, and SEG Foundation scholarships and technical grants that fund field education, research, and early-career development.
