Friends of Retired Greyhounds
Friends of Retired Greyhounds (FORG) is an all‑volunteer 501(c)(3) organization that finds loving, permanent homes for retired racing greyhounds and educates the public about the breed and life as a racing athlete.
About Friends of Retired Greyhounds
Founded in 2001 and based in the Denver/Thornton area of Colorado, FORG rescues, medically vets, fosters and places retired racing greyhounds with vetted adoptive families across Colorado and neighboring states.
The organization is volunteer-run and works with race kennels, veterinarians, foster homes and correctional training programs to rehabilitate and rehome greyhounds while providing education and outreach to potential adopters.
